The Bears of Toronto present
Bear Meat 2006

Friday September 1 to Monday September 4, 2006

SPECIAL NEWS: Two new events just added.  Check out the schedule of events for more information.

SPECIAL NEWS: Due to an amazing donation by O'Grady's on Church and Zelda's, we're able to drop the price of our run package.  It is now $60 for BOT members, $65 for Toronto locals and $75 for Out of Town Visitors!  At this price, we'll sell out for sure so sign up now.

The main stay of BoT is our bear run – Bear Meat 2006 – held during the labour day weekend in downtown Toronto. It is an annual gathering of bears and bear-lovers. It is hosted by the Bears of Toronto, who conceived the event as a weekend of fun and fund-raising.

The event fosters a sense of community among participants while at the same time raising money for agencies serving the gay and HIV communities at the local, provincial, and national level. Fundraising is accomplished primarily through raffles, auctions, and direct donations from participants and the community.

The proceeds of this event will be donated to our charity of choice - The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation
