Two of the most famous faces from the Republican Party of the 21st-century have been revealed as among the top targets for the End Citizens United PAC in the coming 2018 Midterm elections. House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas head the list of the “Big Money 20” revealed by the PAC as the battle for donations hots up before the 2018 Midterm elections finally arrive; Tiffany Muller, President of End Citizens United believes the 20 Republican politicians show the worst side of politics in the 21st-century at a national level.
End Citizens United was established in 2015 in the runup to the 2016 Presidential election cycle which saw the PAC provide its email list of members to the campaign of Democrat Hillary Clinton. Despite being a supporter of Democrat candidates the main issue leading End Citizens United to support Democratic politicians is their belief in the need to end the 2010 Supreme Court decision known as Citizens United which led to billionaire donors and corporations being given the freedom to provide almost unlimited funding to the campaigns of their choice.

Many political experts believe the chances of success for End Citizens United are slim for many of those named on the “Big Money 20” list being defeated during the 2018 midterm election cycle but the fighting of the 2016 elections has had a major effect on the options open to End Citizens United according to endcitizensunited.org. Tiffany Muller revealed the testing grounds of the 2016 elections showed the PAC a greater level of support for Democrats in traditional Republican strongholds was created when the main issues highlighted were linked to reforming the election finance laws.
The future for End Citizens United PAC looks healthy as the leadership of the group with more than three million members has managed to be 2017 on course to eclipse the total fundraising efforts completed prior to the 2016 election cycle; Tiffany Muller reveals the End Citizens United PAC has been seeking new ways of raising funds within its $5,000 cap on donations which have already raised more than $7 million by the end of the second quarter of 2017. By the time the 2018 midterms arrive the End Citizens United PAC hopes to have raised $35 million, $10 million more than the total raised prior to the 2016 Presidential and Congressional elections.
